War claims lives of 397 Ukrainian athletes – Angels of Sport website

The Angels of Sport website published information about 397 Ukrainian athletes died since the beginning of the Russian full-scale invasion of Ukraine.

On July 1, 2024, it reported that 389 Ukrainian athletes died under different circumstances since the beginning of the Russian full-scale invasion of Ukraine. In the following days, the website was replenished with information about the death of eight more Ukrainian athletes.

As reported, in early May, the Angels of Sport website was launched with the assistance of the Sports Committee of Ukraine to report information about Ukrainian athletes killed in the war.
