Bondarenko wins bronze medal in high jump competition at Rio 2016 Olympics
Ukrainian athlete Bohdan Bondarenko has won the bronze medal in the athletics men's high jump at the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro.
He could not jump at a height of 2.38 meters and then 2.40 meters.
Canadian athlete Derek Drouin won the gold medal, and the silver medal of Mutaz Essa Barshim will go to Bahrain.
Another Ukrainian athlete Andriy Protsenko who also competed in the athletics men's high jump shared the fourth place with British athlete Robert Grabarz.
Thus, on August 17, Ukraine ranked 23rd in the total medal count with one gold medal, four silver and two bronze medals.
