Ukraine drops out of Euro 2016 after Germany-Poland tie match
Ukraine's national team has dropped out of the Euro 2016 European Football Championship following a 0-0 tie match between Germany and Poland.
Germany and Poland completed the second match day in Group C with 4 points each, Northern Ireland – 3 points, Ukraine – 0.
Even if Ukraine defeats Poland in the last round, it still won't get to the third position, which could theoretically give it a chance to continue the fight, as Northern Ireland will overtake Ukraine in the standings due to having won a face-to-face match.
