Valentyna Semerenko wins bronze at Biathlon World Cup
Ukrainian Valentyna Semerenko has won a bronze medal in the women’s 15km race at the opening Biathlon World Cup in Ostersund, Sweden.
It is worth noting that Semerenko shot clean in all stages of the race, thus becoming one of the three athletes who showed flawless shooting.
Triple Olympic champion Darya Domracheva (Belarus) won the gold, and Finland's Kaisa Makarainen finished second.
On December 3, Ukrainian Serhiy Semenov took the silver in the men's individual race.
