Ukraine fails to qualify for 2014 World Cup
Ukraine's national football team has failed to qualify for the 2014 World Cup, after losing to France in Paris on Tuesday.
After winning 2-0 in the first leg of the qualifier at home on November 15, the Ukrainian team lost 3-0 to France in Paris on November 19.
After 22 minutes, the score was opened by Liverpool defender Mamadou Sakho. After 34 minutes, striker Karim Benzema doubled the score.
At the beginning of the second half, Ukraine's defender Yevhen Khacheridi was removed from the field after receiving the second yellow card.
After 72 minutes of the game, Sakho's goal secured France's victory over Ukraine.
