Ukrainian sportsman Kvasha wins silver medal at world swimming championship
Ukrainian sportsman Ilya Kvasha won a silver medal in the individual dives from the one-meter diving board in Barcelona on Monday at the Fina World Championships, Ukraine's Diving Federation has reported on its Web site.
A Chinese sportsman took first place (with a score of 460.95), Kvasha won the silver (434.30), and a Mexican sportsman (431.55) won the bronze.
This is the first medal gained by Ukraine's national high-board diving team.
