In Odesa, swimming on beaches prohibited due to deterioration of water in open reservoirs
The beaches of Odesa have been declared unsuitable for people to swim due to a significant deterioration in the state of water in open reservoirs, according to the Telegram channel of the Odesa City Council.
"The beaches of Odesa have been declared unsuitable for swimming due to a significant deterioration in the state of water in open water bodies (sea, estuary) and a real danger to the health of the population of the city of Odesa. Swimming on the beaches of the city of Odesa is prohibited," the message published on Sunday said.
The corresponding decision was made at an extraordinary meeting of the State Commission on Environmental Safety, Manmade Disaster and Emergency Response of the Executive Committee of the Odesa City Council on June 17, 2023.
