FC Metalist Kharkiv has signed a four-year contract with Brazilian midfielder Diego Souza, reads a statement posted on the club's official Web site.
The Brazilian will play in the Ukrainian team in a T-shirt with No. 7.
In addition, Metalist loaned striker Jajá Coelho to Turkish club Kayserispor for one year.
"Jackson hesitated a long time in making this decision, but eventually accepted Kayserispor's offer. And our club met him halfway," the club's sporting director, Yevhen Krasnikov, told the club's press service.
As reported, Brazilian club Cruzeiro reported on its official Web site on July 15 that midfielder Diego Souza had moved to Metalist Kharkiv. In turn, 26-year-old Metalist midfielder Willian Gomes, who signed a five-year contract with the Ukrainian club a year ago, moved on loan to Cruzeiro for one year.
