Markevych denies rumors of his resignation as Metalist coach
Metalist Kharkiv manager Myron Markevych has denied rumors of his leaving the post of the club's coach.
"Everything is fine. We're working, and these are just rumors. Of course, there are currently a lot of rumors about Metalist... But I'm continuing to work, and there are no problems," the club's press service quoted him as saying.
Earlier, some media outlets, citing their own sources, reported that Markevych is planning to resign as Metalist manager since he is disappointed at the transfer work ahead of the club's Champions League qualifiers.
"Although Metalist's leaders in the face of the club's president, Serhiy Kurchenko, tasked the team with winning the Ukrainian championship and advancing to the group stage of the Champions League, the club's management is still not taking real measures to achieve these goals," reports said.
