Ukraine's biathlete Pidhrushna wins women's sprint at 2013 World Championship
Ukrainian biathlete Olena Pidhrushna won women's sprint at the 2013 World Championship in Nove Mesto, the Czech Republic, on Saturday.
Another Ukrainian Vita Semerenko placed third, losing to Norway's Tora Berger.
Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych congratulated Pidhrushna and Semerenko on their getting gold and silver medals.
