Ukraine prepares bid to host 2022 Winter Olympics, Yanukovych says
Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych has said that Ukraine is to submit a bid to host Winter Olympic Games 2022.
"We're going to submit a bid and we'll prepare to participate in the contest to bid Winter Olympics 2022," he said in Kyiv during the meeting with the leadership, training staff and players of Donbas hockey club in Kyiv on Thursday.
The president said that currently active work on preparing the bid is being done.
