Hockey club Donbass Donetsk has signed a contract with Russian striker Dmitry Kagarlitsky, who previously played for Metallurg Novokuznetsk, the club's vice president and general manager, Serhiy Shakurov, has said in a statement posted on the club's Web site.
In the 2012-2013 season, the 23-year-old striker played 41 matches in the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL) and scored 36 (11 +25) points under the goal and pass system.
Donbass is now competing for a place in the KHL playoffs and is in eighth place in the Western Conference of the League.
