Ericsson not in direct talks with Football Federation of Ukraine
Swedish manager Sven-Goran Eriksson is not in direct talks with the Football Federation of Ukraine (FFU) concerning the job of head coach of the Ukrainian national football team.
"No, I have had no direct contact with the Football Federation of Ukraine. Agents talked about this job, but I have nothing more to add. We'll see what happens," he told Swedish newspaper Expressen.
According to the newspaper, a FFU spokesperson said that an offer had been made to Eriksson and that talks were being held with him.
On December 4, it was reporter that former England manager Eriksson had left Thai club BEC Tero Sasana, where he had worked since the beginning of September.
There are also rumors that the Swedish coach could take charge of Munich 1860, a club that plays in the second division of Germany's Bundesliga.
