Distance school Optima School begins work in Poland
KYIV. Aug 12 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The distance school Optima School received permission to conduct educational activities in Poland and will begin teaching high school students (10-11 grades) from the beginning of the school year in September, said Optima School Director Olha Bilodid at a press conference at the Interfax-Ukraine agency.
"The Polish school will be recruiting for high school. It will start from the beginning of the school year. We have already realized what we dreamed about last year, and there are intentions to move to other EU countries," said Bilodid.
Optima School founder Roberts Vaišļa noted that Optima would share its experience with other countries, positioning itself not only as an international school with universal content, but also creating local content that corresponds to local educational programs.
According to him, Optima has the capacity to educate up to 500,000 students at a time.
Optima School was created and licensed in 2015. Currently, 20,000 students study at the school.
