Shmyhal announces changes in procedure of using subventions for school bomb shelters

The Education and Science Ministry of Ukraine and the Finance Ministry of Ukraine have been instructed to change the procedure of using subventions for the arrangement of bomb shelters and the modernization of catering units at educational institutions, Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal said.

"All schools must receive funds, regardless of the number of students. This applies, first of all, to Donetsk, Luhansk, Zaporizhia, Kherson, Kharkiv, and Mykolaiv regions," he said at a government meeting on Friday via video link.

The head of government is on a working visit to Donetsk region.
