Air defense forces shot down 32 out of 32 enemy attack UAVs at night in seven regions, commander of the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Mykola Oleschuk said.

"On the night of July 5, 2024, Russian invaders attacked Ukraine with 32 attack UAVs of the Shahed-131/136 type from Kursk, Primorsko-Akhtarsk regions - Russia... During the night, the defenders of the sky shot down all 32 Shaheds in Mykolaiv, Odesa, Kherson, Dnipropetrovsk, Kyiv, Chernihiv and Cherkasy regions," according to a message published on Oleschuk's Telegram channel on Friday morning.

The strike was repelled by fighter aircraft, anti-aircraft missile units of the Air Force, mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces, and electronic warfare units.
