Zelenskyy: Australia promises to help Ukraine with air defense
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has had a telephone conversation with Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albenese, with whom he discussed defense and Russian strikes on Ukraine.
"The Prime Minister promised to help, and I am very grateful for that. Missiles for air defense are needed every day, just as support for our defense is needed every day," Zelenskyy wrote in his Telegram channel on Monday.
He also informed his interlocutor about the situation in diplomacy and the next steps.
"The Prime Minister noted our efforts. Thank you for the kind words about Ukraine and Ukrainians," Zelenskyy added.
In addition, the president expressed condolences to Albenizi in connection with the terrorist attack on Bondi Beach in December.
"Six victims are of Ukrainian origin. Our solidarity with all the relatives and friends of the victims," he president said.
