Air defense eliminate 19 out of 21 shaheds attacking Ukraine – Air Force
The Ukrainian air defense eliminated at night 19 out of 21 enemy shaheds with which the invaders attacked Ukraine, the Air Force has reported.
"As a result of combat work, 19 enemy attack UAVs of the Shahed type were shot down in Kherson, Mykolaiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Kirovohrad, Khmelnytsky and Lviv regions," the message says.
As noted, on the night of June 19, the Russian occupiers attacked by the 21 shock UAV of the Shahed-131/136 type in the directions of Primorsko-Akhtarsk – RF and Cape Chauda – Crimea.
Fighter aircraft, anti-aircraft missile units and electronic warfare units of the Air Force, mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled the air attack, the air command added.
As reported, the Ukrainian air defense destroyed five out of five enemy shaheds in Lviv region, said head of the Regional Military Administration Maksym Kozytsky.
