Yermak discusses prospects for innovation, investment in Ukraine with former US Secretary of State in Berlin
Head of the President’s Office of Ukraine, Andriy Yermak, met with former U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo on the sidelines of the conference on the restoration of Ukraine in Berlin.
"I was glad to talk with my real friend and friend of Ukraine, Mike Pompeo. We discussed the situation on the front line, the need to strengthen our capabilities, air defense, preparations for the Peace Summit and great prospects for innovation and investment in Ukraine," Yermak wrote on the Telegram channel.
In November 2023, global digital communications operator VEON announced that former U.S. Secretary of State Michael Pompeo was joining the Board of Directors of the Ukrainian mobile operator Kyivstar and would join the Board of Directors of Kyivstar as an independent non-executive director.
