HACC does arrest funds in Tymoshenko's account, but property seized during search - Suspilne

The High Anti-Corruption Court (HACC) did not seize funds in the accounts of Batkivshchyna faction leader Yulia Tymoshenko, but did seize property seized during a search and seized the property of Tymoshenko's husband, Suspilne reports.

"The Supreme Court of Justice partially granted the motion not to seize funds in Yulia Tymoshenko's account, but seized her husband's property and seized property seized during the search," the Suspilne (Public Television) Telegram channel said in a message on Wednesday.

Tymoshenko's defense, according to the message, plans to appeal this decision.

As reported, at the court hearing, Tymoshenko asked the court not to seize her account and to close the case in general due to the absence of a crime.

"The seizure of the account will not allow me to live normally, to work normally," she said, adding that she has a single hryvnia account in Oschadbank.

On January 16, the Supreme Court of Justice set a bail of UAH 33 million for Tymoshenko and procedural obligations.
