Yermak discusses situation at front with Italian Defense Ministry

Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Andriy Yermak held a meeting with Defense Minister of Italy Guido Crosetto on Saturday, June 8.

"I thanked the people, the government and the ministry team for all the support and assistance that Italy has provided to Ukraine since the full-scale invasion, in particular for the decision to transfer logistical assistance and air defense systems," Yermak said on the Telegram channel.

During the meeting, the interlocutors discussed the situation at the front, in particular in Kharkiv, as well as the NATO summit in Washington.

Yermak informed Crosetto about Russia's attacks on Ukraine's critical infrastructure.

"Italy continues to support Ukraine within its capabilities. We discussed the potential for joint production in the military-industrial sector," the head of the President's Office said.
