The Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) shot down 13 Russian aircraft in February, namely ten Su-34 fighter-bombers, two Su-35 fighters and one A-50 airborne early warning and control aircraft, the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense said.
"This is the best result since October 2022," the ministry said on its Telegram channel on Friday.
"We are grateful to our soldiers for their effective work. And to our partners for strengthening the capabilities of Ukraine's air defense," the ministry said.
"Together we will win," the ministry believes.
