Russia launches Kh-59 missiles, Shahed drones against Ukraine last night, air defense downs 9 of 14 drones – Air Force
Last night, the Russian occupation forces attacked Ukraine by Kh-59 missiles and Shahed kamikaze drones, nine of 14 enemy drones were destroyed, the Ukrainian Air Force has said on Saturday morning.
"On the night of February 3, 2024, the enemy launched an attack by 14 Shahed-136/131 kamikaze drones from the following directions: Primorsko-Akhtyrsk – Russia, Chauda – Crimea, and two Kh-59 guided bombs from Belgorod region," it said.
"Just like the night before, the enemy aimed a major part of the Shahed drones at the energy infrastructure objects in Dnipropetrovsk region," it said.
The mobile fire groups of the Air Force and Defense Forces of Ukraine shot down nine enemy drones over Dnipropetrovsk, Odesa, Mykolaiv, and Zhytomyr regions.
