AFU Air Force: Air defense forces destroy 8 out of 8 Shahed UAVs attacked Ukraine at night

Air defense forces destroyed eight out of eight Shahed UAVs that attacked several regions of Ukraine at night, the Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces said on Monday morning.

"On the night of January 29, 2024, the enemy attacked with eight attack UAVs of the Shahed-136/131 type from Primorsko-Akhtarsk region, Russia, one Iskander-M missile from Voronezh region, Russia and three C-300 air defense missile systems in Donetsk region from the temporarily occupied territory of the region," the AFU said in the Telegram channel.

It is noted that the forces and means of the Air Force, in cooperation with the air defense of the Ukrainian Defense Forces, destroyed eight enemy UAVs within Mykolaiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Khmelnytsky and Rivne regions.

Anti-aircraft missile units and mobile fire groups have been involved in repelling the air attack.
