Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valeriy Zaluzhny announced the destruction by Ukrainian forces of an enemy A-50 long-range radar detection aircraft and an Il-22 enemy air control post.

"Warriors of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed the enemy A-50 long-range radar detection aircraft and the enemy Il-22 air control centre. I thank the Air Force for the perfectly planned and executed operation in Azov region! Glory to Ukraine," he said in the Telegram channel.
