Ten ballistic missiles, 10 UAVs, attacking Kyiv, destroyed – Air Force
The Ukrainian air defense eliminated 10 ballistic missiles and 10 UAVs that attacked Kyiv on Wednesday night, the Air Force reported.
"At 03:00 sharp on December 13, 2023, the enemy launched a missile attack on the capital of Ukraine. All ten targets flying towards the city of Kyiv along a ballistic trajectory were shot down by an anti-aircraft missile unit of the Air Force," the report says.
Launches of 10 Shahed-136/131 attack UAVs were also recorded. All 10 were destroyed by the forces and means of the Air Force in cooperation with the air defense units of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
It is noted that the type of missiles can be determined only after examining the wreckage by the relevant services.
The Armed Forces added that the occupiers attacked with Shahed type drones from the Balaklava area (occupied Crimea).
Almost all enemy UAVs were shot down in Odesa region – in the area of responsibility of the Pivden (South) air command.
