Maia Sandu thanks presidents of Ukraine, Romania for their assistance in evacuating Moldovan citizens from Gaza Strip

President of Moldova Maia Sandu thanked President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy and President of Romania Klaus Iohannis for their assistance in evacuating Moldovan citizens.

"I am deeply grateful to Presidents Klaus Iohannis and Volodymyr Zelenskyy for Romania's and Ukraine's support in our nearly month-long mission to evacuate Moldovan citizens from the Gaza Strip," she wrote on the X microblog on Tuesday, November 7.

It is noted that with the help of Ukrainian diplomats, the evacuation of 51 Moldovan citizens was expected from the Gaza Strip.
