Russian attacks damage 1,455 hospitals, 823 of them fully or partially restored – Shmyhal
Some 1,455 medical facilities were damaged as a result of Russia's attacks on Ukraine, and 823 of them have been partially or fully restore, Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal has said.
"Russia deliberately attacks our hospitals to provoke a humanitarian disaster. Some 1,455 medical facilities were damaged, 190 were completely destroyed, they need to be restored from scratch," he said at a Tuesday meeting of the government.
At the same time, the prime minister said that 411 medical facilities have been fully restored and 412 – partially.
"We continue to work intensively because every medical facility that resumes its work means saved human lives," he said.
