Air defense shoots down two air missiles, 12 out of 12 attack drones – Ukrainian Air Force
Air defense forces shot down all enemy air targets: two guided aircraft missiles and 12 out of 12 drones that attacked Ukraine, the Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces reported on Monday morning.
"On the night of October 30, 2023, the invaders attacked with 12 attack Shahed UAVs and two X-59 guided missiles. The X-59 launches were carried out from enemy aircraft from the airspace of Zaporizhia region, the Shaheds were flying from the south-eastern direction - Primorsko-Akhtarsk - Russia," according to a message published on the Ukrainian Air Force Telegram channel.
It is emphasized that all 14 enemy air targets were destroyed by air defense, in particular within Mykolaiv, Kherson, Kirovohrad, Cherkasy, Zhytomyr, Khmelnytsky and Dnipropetrovsk regions.
Fighter aircraft, anti-aircraft missile forces and units of mobile fire groups of the Air Force and Defense Forces of Ukraine are involved in repelling the air attack.
