Ukrainian air defense forces destroyed five of the six attack UAVs of the Shahed type that attacked the southern regions of Ukraine at night, the Ukrainian Air Force said on Friday morning.

“On the night of October 27, 2023, the enemy attacked from Primorsko-Akhtarsk region, using six Shahed-type attack UAVs in the direction of the southern regions of Ukraine and one Iskander-M ballistic missile from Voronezh region in the direction of Kharkiv region,” the message, published on the Telegram channel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, says.

It is emphasized that as a result of combat work by the forces and means of the Air Force, in cooperation with the air defense of the Ukrainian Defense Forces, five Shahed-136/131 were destroyed within Kherson and Mykolaiv regions.
