URCS helping to equip shelters for IDPs in Cherkasy region
The Ukrainian Red Cross Society (URCS) is helping to equip shelters for temporarily displaced persons (IDPs) in Cherkasy region.
“Cherkasy regional organization of the Ukrainian Red Cross, with the support of Canadian Red Cross, is helping Cherkasy City Council and the Department of Education and Humanitarian Policy in the implementation of the project – the arrangement of places of compact residence of internally displaced persons in the city of Cherkasy,” the URCS reported on Facebook on Tuesday.
URCS provided necessary household appliances and furniture to one of the shelters for IDPs in the region, where 26 families live.
