Zelenskyy discusses with Italian FM defense support, strengthening of air defense in Ukraine

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy has held a meeting with Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Italy Antonio Tajani in Kyiv on Monday.

"A meeting with Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Italy Antonio Tajani. The situation on the battlefield, the implementation of the Ukrainian Peace Formula, the Global Peace Summit, our path to the EU and NATO. Defense support was discussed separately. It is very important to strengthen air defense to protect peaceful Ukrainians and grain infrastructure," the President said on Telegram.

The Head of State separately thanked Italy for solidarity with Ukraine.
