Poland to provide infrastructure for training Ukrainian pilots on F-16
Polish National Defense Minister Mariusz Blaszczak said on Tuesday that within the framework of the "coalition of fighters", the Polish side will open access to infrastructure for training Ukrainian pilots on the F-16.
"This is another proof of our determination to support Ukraine against Russia's brutal invasion. For my part, I promise support by opening access to our educational infrastructure and courses," he wrote on Twitter.
Earlier it was reported that Belgium, Denmark, Canada, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Great Britain and Sweden joined the coalition to train the Ukrainian Air Forces in the operation and maintenance of F-16 fighters. The coalition is led by Denmark and the Netherlands, and training is expected to begin at the end of the summer in Denmark.
