Ukraine to launch production of equipment for humanitarian demining
Equipment for humanitarian demining will be produced in Ukraine, Minister for Strategic Industries Oleksandr Kamyshin has said.
"The government has launched an updated government policy on humanitarian demining. The Ministry for Strategic Industries, within the framework of this program, is responsible for launching the local production of machinery and equipment for humanitarian demining," he wrote on his Telegram channel.
Kamyshin said that the problem of humanitarian demining remains relevant for Ukraine for years. "But it is an opportunity for our manufacturers to master the production of such machinery and equipment. Now for own country, and one day for other countries," the minister added.
"And I believe there are enough qualified manufacturers in Ukraine who will be able to master and produce such equipment," he said.
