First vehicle of URCS mobile medical teams launched in Odesa region
The first vehicle within the Mobile Medical Teams project of the Ukrainian Red Cross Society (URCS) has started working in Odesa region.
"Fully equipped with the necessary equipment and medicines, a mobile medical team travels to remote settlements of the community to provide primary and emergency medical care," the URCS said on Facebook on Wednesday.
Medical workers examine patients, measure blood pressure, glucose and blood saturation levels, give recommendations for treatment and provide medicines free of charge as prescribed by a doctor.
In Odesa region, the project is being implemented with the support of the German Red Cross.
