AFU Air Force destroys two X-59 guided cruise missiles over Odesa region, three people wounded

The Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Tuesday destroyed two X-59 guided cruise missiles over Odesa region, the AFU Air Force press service has said.

"At about 19:40 on March 21, 2023, in the sky over Odesa region, the forces and means of air defense of the Pivden (South) task force shot down two Kh-59 air-to-surface guided cruise missiles fired by Russian Su-35 fighters from the water area," the Air Force said.

According to Head of the President's Office Andriy Yermak, three people were wounded and a three-story residential building on the territory of the monastery was damaged as a result of the Russian attack by Kh-59 missiles.

In total, the Russians launched four missiles, two of which were shot down by the Ukrainian air defense.

As reported, Russian troops with the help of Su-35 fighters from the sea launched a missile attack on the territory of Odesa region on Tuesday, there are victims, Odesa Regional Military Administration said.
