Russia launches X-101, X-555, Kalibr and Iskander missiles on Ukraine’s territory, as well as S-300 and Tornado-S MLRS missiles – AFU Air Forces

On the morning of Monday, October 10, starting at 06:00, Russian invaders attacked peaceful cities of Ukraine from all directions with missiles of various types, in particular from the Black Sea and the Caspian region, the command of the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reports.

"High-precision ground-, sea- and air-based cruise missiles are being used. The invaders launch X-101, X-555 from the Caspian Sea area from eleven Tu-95 and Tu-160 strategic bomber aircraft. Kalibr cruise missiles were launched from ships in the Black Sea. Iskander ground–based short-range ballistic missile system was used in different directions. The enemy also uses missiles of the S-300 anti-aircraft missile systems and the Tornado-S MLRS," the telegram channel says.

In total, as of 11:40, the Russian occupiers fired more than 80 missiles, of which the air defense of the AFU together with the air defense units of the Ground Forces shot down about 45 missiles.

In addition, nine out of 12 kamikaze drones Shahed-136 were destroyed by air defense.
