ICC prosecutors arrive in Poland to collect evidence of crimes of Russian aggressor in Ukraine – Duda
A group of prosecutors from the International Criminal Court (ICC) has arrived in Poland to collect evidence of crimes in the wake of Russian aggression against Ukraine, Polish President Andrzej Duda said during a press conference with U.S. Vice President Kamala Harris.
"A group of prosecutors, delegated by the Tribunal in The Hague, came to us [in Poland] to get acquainted with the circumstances of the case. They are collecting evidence," Duda said during a conference on Thursday.
He also emphasized that "there is a lot of evidence" and that "it's all being collected. Work continues." The Polish President believes that "this will lead to very serious indictments."
"I believe that the perpetrators of war crimes will be convicted – those responsible for the war that is now taking place in Ukraine as a result of this Russian gangster attack," Duda summed up.
