European Commission creates page in Ukrainian on its website with information for Ukrainian refugees
The European Commission has launched a special page on its website for people fleeing the war waged by Russia against Ukraine, both in English and Ukrainian.
The corresponding announcement was made by representative of the European Commission Eric Mamer on Wednesday.
"The war in Ukraine forced over 2 million people to flee their homes seeking safety and protection. This is why the EU Commission launched a dedicated webpage to assist them and make sure that they know what are their basic rights in the EU. The website contains information on border crossings, rights upon arrival and further travel information. The web page is available here in English, and we are working to make all this information available in Ukrainian as soon as possible," he said.
