Gerashchenko asks Ukrainian military to help foreign journalists
Advisor to the Interior Minister of Ukraine Anton Gerashchenko has asked Ukrainian defenders to treat representatives of foreign media as politely as possible and to facilitate their work in every possible way.
"Dear defenders of Kyiv, Kharkiv and our other cities! Our Heroes! I appeal to you to be courteous and attentive to more than 2,000 foreign journalists who came from all over the world to defend Ukraine. To raise public opinion in their countries for us. Try to treat them politely and help them get to the filming locations," Gerashchenko wrote on Telegram on Tuesday.
The rest of the instructions for letting journalists through checkpoints, he said, will be communicated through non-public communication channels.
"Foreign and Ukrainian media are our allies in the fight against Putin's fascism!" Gerashchenko stressed.
