Ukraine asks ICJ to hold hearing as soon as possible - Kuleba
Foreign Minister of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba called on the International Court of Justice (ICJ) of the United Nations in The Hague to hold hearings on the lawsuit against the Russian Federation as soon as possible.
"In light of the exceptional urgency of the situation, we respectfully ask the International Court of Justice to hold a hearing on Ukraine's request as soon as possible and call on Russia to immediately cease all hostilities in Ukraine," the minister said on Twitter.
As reported, on February 27, Ukraine officially filed a lawsuit against Russia with the International Court of Justice in The Hague. Ukraine demands that the Russian occupier be held accountable for distorting the concept of genocide in order to justify aggression.
