Russian troops used combat aircraft against the defenders of Snake Island (Odesa region), but Ukrainian troops continue to hold the line, the press service of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine reports.

"The aggressor used military aviation against the border guards and fighters of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Snake Island. Shelling of the island from ship weapons also continues. The border guards and the Armed Forces of Ukraine are holding the line," the message posted on Facebook reads.
