Active battles continue in Hostomel near Kyiv, there is danger of landing of Russian forces in govt quarter of Kyiv – advisor Podoliak

Adviser to the Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Mykhailo Podoliak announced the possibility of enemy troops entering the government quarter in the center of Kyiv to carry out a special operation to overthrow the Ukrainian government.

"Perhaps... pinpoint landing. Now there are powerful battles in Hostomel [the village of Hostomel, Kyiv region] and an attempt to penetrate into the government quarter is possible... One of the goals is to remove the top leadership of the country," Podoliak said at a briefing on Thursday.

He recommended that the journalists who are in the press center of the parliament continue to work from the editorial offices of their publications for security reasons.
