Russian equipment attemps to enter Kyiv region – Border Guard Service

In Kyiv region, Russian troops attempted to cross the state border with Russia, the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine has said.

"The military equipment of the enemy entered through the Vilcha entry-exit checkpoint. Ukraine's border guards, together with the Ukrainian military, engaged the attackers. In addition, shelling was carried out at the location of the Mlachivka border service department of Zhytomyr detachment," the State Border Guard Service said on Facebook on Thursday.

The said that depending on the situation, border units are redeployed to reserve positions and operate in cooperation with the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the National Guard.
