The situation in the defense lines where border guard units are located in Sumy region, is currently unchanged, said State Border Guard Service spokesman Andriy Demchenko in a commentary to Interfax-Ukraine.

"The enemy continues to try to enter the direction of Novenke and Zhuravky with small assault groups, but is being destroyed and cannot gain a foothold," he said.
