Zelensky, Biden discuss Russia's actions; call with Johnson scheduled
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said he has discussed Russia's recognition of the independence of the self-proclaimed Donetsk and Luhansk People's Republics (DPR/LPR) with United States President Joe Biden, and a phone conversation with British Prime Minister Boris Johnson is scheduled.
"Discussed the events of the last hours with President Biden. We begin the meeting of the National Security and Defense Council. A conversation with Boris Johnson is also planned," Zelensky said on Twitter on Monday evening.
