JFO HQ reports 16 enemy attacks with 1 WIA in past 24 hours
Russian-led forces have mounted 16 attacks on Ukrainian troops in Donbas, eastern Ukraine, over past 24 hours, with one Ukrainian soldier reported as wounded in action (WIA), the press center of the Joint Forces Operation (JFO) has reported.
"Russian invaders opened fire on the positions of our troops 16 times. At the same time, the enemy twice used weapons forbidden by the Minsk agreements ... There have been no casualties among Ukrainian servicemen," the JFO staff said on Facebook on Friday morning.
Russian occupation forces opened aimed fire to attack the defenders of the villages of Krymske, Luhanske, Nevelske, Novomykhailivka, Stepne, Chermalyk, Pavlopil, Hnutove, Vodiane, and Lebedynske.
According to Ukrainian intelligence, two militants of the illegal armed groups were killed and four more were injured.
