Each killed Ukrainian defender is crime committed by Russian aggressor – Poroshenko
President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko on the anniversary of the Ilovaisk tragedy said that the Russian aggressor should be punished for every killed Ukrainian soldier.
"Each life of our defender, taken by the war, leaves a scar on the heart of Ukraine, at the heart of the whole people, at the heart of each of us. Each broken life is a crime of the Russian aggressor, for which it will certainly be punished. This war is our common pain, which cannot be forgotten for a minute," Poroshenko wrote on his Facebook page on Wednesday.
"Heroes do not die," the president of Ukraine said and attached a video on Facebook created by volunteers for the Day of Remembrance for the killed defenders of Ukraine in the Russian-Ukrainian war in 2014.
