Canadian foreign minister to visit Ukraine on Aug 27 through Aug 29
Canadian Foreign Minister Chrystia Freeland will pay a working visit to Ukraine on August 27 through August 29, 2018.
"The aim of the visit is to support the Ukrainian-Canadian political dialog. It is expected to discuss issues of cooperation in the international arena, in particular, to counteract Russian aggression and further strengthen the special partnership," the press service of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry said on Monday.
The diplomatic institution said that on August 28, negotiations and a joint press conference of the foreign ministers of Ukraine and Canada are scheduled.
In addition, the meetings of Freeland with the leadership of the state and heads of several ministries are planned.
The Canadian foreign minister will also take part in the 13th plenary meeting of heads of foreign diplomatic institutions of Ukraine.
