The Verkhovna Rada Commissioner for Human Rights Liudmyla Denisova and Chief Ombudsman of Turkey Seref Malkoc have signed an agreement on cooperation.
"Today we have signed an agreement on cooperation with Turkey's chief ombudsman Seref Malkoc. Now it will be easier for us to uphold the violated rights of Ukrainian citizens in Turkey," Denisova wrote on Facebook on Thursday.
In addition, the parties agreed to organize joint trainings, exchange experience and provide the necessary assistance, and also intend to negotiate with the universities of the two countries on sending students to become familiarized with ombudsmen's activities.
